The Palani Murugan Temple in Dindigul has set a new historical record with its hundial collections. In the current Fasli year 1435, the total collection reached Rs. 61,21,95,387, surpassing the previous year's record of Rs. 58.28 crore by approximately Rs. 2.93 crore. Recent counting revealed a collection of Rs. 1.40 crore in cash, along with 187.200 grams of gold, 4035 grams of silver, and 255 foreign coins.
