A 16-year-old student named Paras died while his friend Nitin was seriously injured in a road accident on Guruharsahai Road in Sri Muktsar Sahib. The accident occurred when their scooter collided with an oncoming truck. Paras, a Class 11 student at Shivalik School, was crushed under the truck.
