A video of an unknown animal roaming on the 'Dadhinauti' and 'Anlabedha' of the Puri Jagannath Temple has gone viral. The animal, suspected to be a Palm Civet (Shaliapatani), was spotted by Chunara servitors while they were climbing the temple spire to light the Mahadipa on the occasion of Jalakrida Ekadashi. The presence of the animal at such a height has sparked curiosity among devotees.
