Two Indian Army women doctors, Lt Col Urmimala Bhattacharya and Lt Col Kirti Sethi, deployed in the UN Peacekeeping mission, saved a passenger's life mid-air on an Ethiopian Airlines flight. The passenger suffered from a medical emergency due to hypoglycemia at 30,000 feet. The doctors provided immediate medical aid with limited resources, stabilizing the patient and preventing an emergency landing. Both doctors are part of the Indian Level 2+ Hospital in the UNMISS mission in South Sudan.
