Just returned home from a 3-day business trip to India. The purpose of this business trip was to attend the Japanese American Foreign Ministers Meeting. The Japanese American Seal is a framework for comradeship countries with shared values and the will and ability to solve regional problems. This meeting was an opportunity for the foreign ministers of the four countries to confirm that practical cooperation is strongly advancing towards achieving a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)". From me, I explained the evolution of FOIP, particularly the importance of strengthening the autonomy and rapidity of each country, and on top of that, I was able to hold strategic awareness of regional and international conditions among the four ministers.
