In a shocking incident in Baripada, a car driver was brutally beaten inside the Town Police Station premises in the presence of police officers. The conflict began at Podaastia Square over a road-side dispute while returning from Devkund. A group of youths on bikes chased the car and attacked the occupants near the Jagannath Temple. When the victims sought refuge inside the police station, the attackers followed them inside, continued the assault, and vandalized the car.
