During the 9th review of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy (GCTS), India's Permanent Representative Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni emphasized that terrorism has no justification and called for an end to double standards. Highlighting India's long-standing battle against cross-border terrorism, he stated that the 'right to life' is the most fundamental human right. India urged member states to hold sponsors and financiers of terrorism accountable through strict FATF compliance and called for the immediate implementation of CCIT. Furthermore, India demanded that UN condemn hatred against all religions equally, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.
