The sacred Snanajatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri is scheduled for June 29, 2026. The deities will undergo a grand bath with 108 pitchers of scented water, followed by the rare Hati Besha (Elephant attire) for public viewing. The district administration and police have implemented tight security with 79 platoons of force and over 430 CCTV cameras.
