Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan retired on Saturday after a distinguished tenure of 3 years and 8 months. He was honored with a Guard of Honor in New Delhi. Retired Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani is set to take over as the next CDS of India on Sunday. General Chauhan had focused on inter-service coordination and was a key figure in Operation Sindhu.
