12th Muharram – The Captives Entered Kufa😭💔 After the tragedy of Karbala, the surviving members of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) were taken toward Kufa as captives. Their hearts were broken by the loss of Imam Hussain (AS) and their loved ones, yet their trial was far from over. The governor of Kufa ordered the city to prepare for their arrival. Crowds gathered in the streets, and many people, unaware of the true identity of the captives, mocked and jeered at them. They did not realize that these were the family of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Despite the humiliation, grief, and suffering, Lady Zainab (SA) stood with unmatched courage and dignity. Alongside Imam Zayn al-Abidin (AS), she preserved the message of Karbala and spoke the truth in the face of oppression.
