TMC youth leader Kailash Mishra, a close associate of MP Abhishek Banerjee, has been arrested by Howrah City Police for extortion and assault. A special police team apprehended him from Madhubani, Bihar, where he was hiding to evade arrest. Mishra, who served as the President of Howrah Sadar Youth TMC, faced multiple complaints from local businessmen.
