A torchlight procession (Mashal Shobhayatra) was organized by the Bhanjasena organization in Betnoti, Mayurbhanj, to advocate for the protection of Similipal and the eradication of the migrant labor (Dadan) problem. Led by founder Kalinga Keshari Jena, the campaign 'Dadan Hatiba Mayurbhanj Hasiba' aims to create public awareness and pressure the government to make the district self-reliant through tourism and natural resources.
