A poor family in Rishida village of Kalahandi district is facing a severe crisis after the wall of their makeshift hut collapsed during heavy storms. Despite repeated applications, Baibasata Rana's family has been excluded from government housing schemes and is currently living under a plastic tarpaulin with their 9-year-old son.
