A newborn baby boy was rescued from the premises of Maa Ratneswari Temple near Jakar village in Ganjam district. The infant was found abandoned with a milk bottle on Friday evening. Local residents alerted the Sarpanch and police after hearing the baby's cries. Police shifted the infant to Chikiti Community Health Center, where his condition is reported to be stable.
