Around 440 security guards at AIIMS Bhubaneswar are on strike protesting against unpaid salaries for the last two months and non-payment of EPF. The guards, employed through an outsourcing agency named MVSF, alleged that the agency has been cutting their salaries arbitrarily. Due to the protest, security services in all departments except the emergency wing have been affected.
