A major theft occurred at the famous Maa Danda Kali Temple in Galeri, Ganjam district. Burglars broke into the temple at night and decamped with 400 grams of gold, over 7 kg of silver, and approximately 5 lakh rupees in cash, totaling an estimated value of 1 crore rupees. The miscreants also stole the CCTV hard disk to destroy evidence.
