100-Foot Warrior Rises: Sambhaji Maharaj’s Bronze Statue Amazes Maharashtra!
Moshi’s calm surroundings turned vibrant as thousands gathered in celebration. The air echoed with the powerful beats of dhol and tasha—around 3,000 drummers, hundreds of performers, and flags waving proudly like symbols of history. As the fog lifted, a grand 180-foot bronze statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj stood tall, sword raised, reflecting the spirit of Swarajya. The London Book of Records has recognized it as the tallest statue of Sambhaji Maharaj. The ₹48 crore Shambu Srushti project has now come to life.
This is more than just a structure—it represents history, courage, and resilience. Sambhaji Maharaj, who endured immense torture under Aurangzeb without surrendering his beliefs, is now honored in this grand form. The statue, designed by renowned sculptor Ram Sutar, stands at 140 feet atop a 40-foot pedestal in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The project was supported by leaders like Mahesh Landge and Devendra Fadnavis.
The celebration continued for hours, with people expressing pride, emotion, and admiration. The Shambu Srushti theme park will also feature holograms, statues of Maratha warriors, and a memorial dedicated to Hambirrao Mohite.
From history to the modern skyline, this statue stands as a tribute to legacy and valor. Sambhaji Maharaj’s story now rises tall, reminding generations of courage and sacrifice.
