More than 26,000 pilgrims visited the Amarnath cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir during the first two days of the annual pilgrimage which started on July 3. Due to a heavy rush, all registration slots until July 9 are fully booked, and authorities have advised new pilgrims to delay their travel plans.
