Halwara International Airport in Ludhiana has officially started operations with its first Air India flight from Delhi. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu arrived with 60 passengers on the inaugural flight. Air India will operate two daily flights on this route, reducing travel time to Delhi to just 1 hour 15 minutes. With Halwara becoming operational, the Sahnewal airport has been closed and its staff transferred. The project is a joint venture between the AAI and the Punjab government, with economy fares ranging from Rs 4,000 to 5,000. https://khalastv.com/first-air-india-flight-lands-at-halwara-airport/ #Creator program
