A private bus carrying a wedding party fell into a valley at Ranipathar Ghat on the Boudh-Kandhamal border. The accident occurred when the bus, named 'Kanha', was returning from Dadki in Kandhamal to Purunakataka in Boudh. One person died and over 10 passengers were critically injured in the crash. There were approximately 50 passengers on board.
