The Odisha government has announced the upcoming implementation of a new 'Film Policy' to support artists with technical assistance and security. CM Mohan Charan Majhi stated that Kalinga Studio will be transformed into a major digital and post-production hub. At the state film awards ceremony, veteran actors Shyamalendu Bhattacharya and Namrata Das received the Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Award for 2023 and 2024 respectively.
