The annual Amarnath Yatra has officially commenced with the first batch of pilgrims flagged off from Jammu by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. To ensure safety, the central government has deployed over 70,000 security personnel, including CRPF, BSF, and ITBP, along the 300 km Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Pilgrims expressed immense enthusiasm and faith, stating they have no fear due to the robust security arrangements.
