The Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana was organized in Keonjhar district where 39 couples from 13 blocks got married. Deputy CM Pravati Parida attended the event at Dharanidhar Sports Complex to bless the couples and distribute financial aid. Under this scheme, eligible brides receive a total of ₹60,000, with ₹45,000 directly transferred via DBT and ₹15,000 allocated for wedding arrangements.
