Unidentified motorcycle-borne youths opened fire outside the residence of an 84-year-old jeweler, Gurdial Singh Kanda, in the posh Chhoti Baradari Part-1 area of Jalandhar. Approximately five rounds were fired while the victim was walking outside after dinner. No injuries or fatalities were reported. Police have cordoned off the area and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
