Preparations for the Rath Yatra at the historic Kulad Jagannath Temple near Bhanjanagar have commenced. A preliminary meeting chaired by the Sub-Collector is scheduled for June 12th to ensure a disciplined festival on July 17th. Wood for repairing the chariot wheels has been selected from the Odisha Forest Development Corporation. The administration also announced an auction of temple lands on June 17th.
