A depression has formed in the Bay of Bengal and is moving towards the Odisha coast. It is expected to cross the coast near Balasore, between Chandbali and Digha, within the next 24 hours. The IMD has issued a Red Alert for Odisha, Gujarat, and West Madhya Pradesh. Intense rainfall is predicted in districts like Bargarh, Sambalpur, and Nuapada.
