The District Collector of Sundargarh visited Nuadihi village following the death of four people after consuming a meal at a funeral feast. A medical team has been deployed as many villagers are suffering from diarrhea and vomiting. The Collector has banned the use of pond water for 15 days as a precautionary measure, suspecting it might be the source of infection. Water and stool samples have been sent for testing to determine if food poisoning or water contamination caused the fatalities.
