Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved a new train from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi, fulfilling a long-standing demand of Western Odisha residents. The train (No. 08517/8518) will pass through Rayagada, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Sambalpur, and Prayagraj. It is scheduled to start operations from Visakhapatnam on May 22 and from New Delhi on May 26. This 18-coach train will benefit passengers from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh, especially pilgrims visiting Prayagraj.
