Kali is Nada From the fusion of *bindu* and *nada* is born the universe (this sounded roughly similar as the *big bang* theory, where the idea is that universe originated from Singularity). The idea of bindu and nada is depicted by union of lingam and Yoni. As Kali, who is Prakriti, sits upon Shiva and the union of lingam and Yoni happens, Shiva becomes Bhagvan. Bhaga means Yoni and one who fuses into Yoni is Bhagavan or Bharga.  Just as the fusion of lingam (phallus) into Yoni (vagina) gives a spark to life in human context, fusion of bindu and nada gives a spark to creation of brahmaand in universal context.
