Veteran German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has come out of retirement to join the 26-member national squad for the upcoming World Cup. Despite announcing his retirement after Euro 2024, coach Julian Nagelsmann convinced the 40-year-old to return following an injury to Marc-André ter Stegen.
