Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Seychelles as a special guest for their 50th Independence Day celebrations. An Assam Rifles contingent and Indian Navy marching band will participate in the event. During the visit, PM Modi handed over a patrol vessel named 'L'Espwar' and signed MoUs spanning health, UPI, and space. A credit line of Rs 1250 crore was also announced. Highlighting shared maritime security interests, PM Modi became the first Indian PM to address the Seychelles National Assembly.
