Following the SIR process, the Odisha Voter List has seen a major update with over 20.14 lakh names being removed. State Chief Electoral Officer R.S. Gopalan informed that the deletions include 8.32 lakh deceased individuals and 10.07 lakh absentees or shifted voters. Currently, the state has 3.33 crore voters.
