The 5th constitutional conference and elections of OSTA were held at Pathani Samanta Sanskriti Bhawan in Nayagarh. Out of 218 secondary teachers who participated, 13 candidates from one panel emerged victorious. Nityananda Das was elected President, and Dibakar Paikray was elected Secretary.
