The Odisha government has increased reservation seats for ST, SC, and SEBC students in technical education starting from the 2026-27 academic year. Reservation for ST students increased from 12% to 22.5%, and for SC students from 8% to 16.25%. Notably, a 11.25% reservation has been introduced for SEBC candidates.
