A 29-year-old JCB driver named Prince V. from Jadkal passed away at Manipal Hospital on June 27 after consuming poison. Depressed with life and reportedly addicted to alcohol, he had informed his mother about his intent to commit suicide on June 23. Despite being rushed to the hospital by his sister and receiving treatment for several days, he failed to recover.
