The Faridkot District and Sessions Court has granted interim bail to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Parambans Singh Bunty Romana. The case was registered following a complaint by the Returning Officer alleging interference in government duty and intimidation of staff during the municipal council election process on May 18, 2026. The court has stayed his arrest and directed him to cooperate with the police investigation.
