Sangramika Panda, a second-year student at Gopabandhu Ayurveda Medical College in Puri, passed away in her sleep. After staying up all Saturday night to complete her practical records, she went to sleep on Sunday morning but did not wake up. Doctors at the Puri District Headquarters Hospital declared her dead on arrival. With no other family members present except her parents, her college classmates performed her last rites at Swargadwara.
