Following strict orders from the Bombay High Court, BMC has taken decisive action against construction sites causing dust pollution. Between January and June, stop-work notices were issued to 835 sites, while 977 received show-cause notices. BMC inspected 3,093 sites and found several violations of the 28-point pollution control guidelines.
