A shocking case of police brutality has emerged from Talchua Marine Police Station in Kendrapara, Odisha. A woman and her son, who went to report a family dispute, were allegedly subjected to 'third-degree' torture for six hours. The victim, Annapurna Mandal, alleged that the lady IIC Sandhyarani Jena disrobed her and wiped off her vermilion, while her son was brutally beaten inside a toilet. The victims are currently undergoing treatment at Rajnagar CHC.
