Trinamool Congress leader Jahangir Khan has been arrested by the West Bengal STF near the Indo-Nepal border. He was absconding after the Calcutta High Court withdrew his interim protection. Khan faces seven FIRs at the Falta police station in South 24 Parganas. The court emphasized that political reasons cannot justify legal protection and laws are equal for all.
