TMC Lok Sabha MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has resigned from the post of Barasat District Committee President following the party's defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections. She blamed the I-PAC team for the loss, alleging they exerted undue pressure which hindered the party's functioning. Dastidar cited moral responsibility for the poor performance in her district.
