An investigation has revealed a deep nexus between Punjab Police and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Dismissed DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu allegedly sent birthday gifts, including marmalade and caps, to Bishnoi in Sabarmati Jail through an associate in February 2024. This occurred while the DSP was already under investigation for facilitating Bishnoi's controversial TV interview within CIA Kharar premises. The revelation came from the interrogation report of gang member Rajvir Singh.
