Fuel prices in India have increased significantly, with petrol rising by ₹2.61 per liter and diesel by ₹2.71 per liter. In Delhi, petrol now costs ₹102.12 and diesel ₹95.20 per liter. CNG prices also saw a hike of ₹1 per kg in Delhi, reaching ₹81.09. Despite a 4.75% drop in international crude oil prices to $98.62 per barrel, Indian oil companies continue to hike prices to recover losses. IOCL has clarified that there is no fuel shortage in the country and the supply remains stable despite a surge in demand during May.
