Residents of Nuapada in Kalahandi district staged a road blockade protesting the dilapidated condition of the Surapadar Government Primary School. Established in 1961, the school building constructed in 1984 has not been repaired for 40 years, leading to a leaking roof and falling cement chunks. Protesters also highlighted issues regarding undelivered additional classrooms and drinking water scarcity.
