Archaeologists at the historic Alamo site in Texas have discovered an intact 190-year-old iron cannonball weighing 6 pounds. Dated back to the 1836 Battle of Alamo, the artifact was found just one meter below the surface. This follows the discovery of a bronze cannonball in the same area last March. Experts believe the iron ball was used by Texan defenders.
