Heavy Kalbaishakhi rains accompanied by lightning strikes have claimed four lives across Odisha. In Keonjhar district, a couple died while taking shelter under a straw shed. In Jajpur, a laborer was struck dead while working in the fields, and in Mayurbhanj, a specially-abled young woman lost her life while trying to bring cattle home during the storm.
