The 'Swarna Sambhrama' program was organized at Dharmasthala to honor Yakshagana artist Vasantha Gowda Kayarthadka for his 50 years of service in the Dharmasthala Mela. Edneer Mutt Seer Sri Sachidananda Bharati inaugurated the event. D. Harshendra Kumar praised the contribution of artists to the growth of Yakshagana. Vasantha Gowda and his wife Geetha were felicitated by various art groups and dignitaries including Dr. T. Shyam Bhatt.
