Security has been intensified at the Paonta Sahib border following an attempt by Nihang Sikhs to enter Uttarakhand from Punjab via Himachal Pradesh. Uttarakhand police and administration have sealed the border and are conducting thorough vehicle searches. On Friday, DM Dr. Ashish Chauhan and SSP Pramendra Dobal visited ground zero to inspect security arrangements.
