The Indian Army has expressed displeasure over Captain Bharat Bhardwaj's decision to propose to his fiancée during a Passing-out Parade at the Combat Army Aviation Training School in Nashik. Senior officials stated that such personal actions during an official government event violate military discipline and protocol. While no written notice was issued, a verbal message was conveyed through the Commanding Officer. The Army emphasized that while officers can propose in uniform, doing so at official ceremonies or in front of operational equipment like helicopters is not permitted.
