A special NIA court in Mohali has sentenced three Kashmiri students, Zahid Gulzar, Yasir Rafiq Bhat, and Mohammad Idris Shah, to 10 years of imprisonment. They were associated with the terrorist outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) and were arrested in 2018 from CT Institute in Jalandhar with an AK-47, pistols, and explosives. One of the convicts is a cousin of terrorist Zakir Musa. The court found them guilty under UAPA, the Arms Act, and the Explosives Act for conspiring against the country.
